The operations are based on the specific position of heating plants in small municipalities and on doing business in a complex situation encountering difficult access to modern technologies. A limited business space results in numerous problems involving heating systems modernization that is hard to complete without a close cooperation with technology suppliers. Heating industry is therefore a subject of discussions in working groups focused on legislation, technology, economy and ecology. Specialized seminars and conferences are organized to share good practices and experience of individual members.

Operation of the Association for Heat and Technology Suppliers (the Association) is regulated by the Articles of Association. The managing bodies are general meeting, the board of directors and the company executive. The company executive, in cooperation with the board of directors, is responsible for the company management in the period between general meetings.
